NSW Highway Patrol , Operation Maverick II again using high performance sports cars to detect dangerous drivers October 1990. From left Senior Constable John Lipman , Constable Anthony Pejakovic , Constable Peter Balatincz and Sergeant Kaz Pociask . A total of 130 driver were booked for speeding with six motorist clocked at More than 45kmh above the speed limit and the highest speed detected was 170kmh in Concord Road at Drummoyne. BMW 525i sedan and the Nissan 300ZX Targa were two of many covert vehicles used during Operation Maverick including a Mazda MX6 in 1990.
