Verstappen replied: “Lewis turned in too much.”

Norris said: “George couldn’t have done anything else.”

Piastri reacted: “What? Was it Lewis and George that crashed?”

Νομίζω είναι ξεκάθαρο πλέον, αφού και ο LH ζήτησε συγνώμη. Θεωρώ πως έκανε λάθος εκτίμηση, ο Russell δεν γινόταν να κάνει τίποτε. Αν ο LH είχε βρεθεί λίγο πιο αριστερά, θα ήταν άλλο εντελώς το αποτέλεσμα. Όπως έγινε, έκοψε πολύ απότομα.
